( Because he was no King, not of nobility, not even a tyrant. He was a prison, a vessel. He was a jailer. A walking cage with flesh walls and bone bars and a sinew door sewn shut with scar tissue. Not a man. A beast. Not a father, and certainly not someone worth caring about. )
